<aside> 💡 All our points calculations are personalized and applied to all the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of an exam. In contrast to personalized points calculations applied per question.
Our current grading scheme reward or penalize only the selected choices.
Whether the choices are correct or incorrect.
It applies to:
Question Coefficient
The $Final~Points$ obtained for an MCQ question are calculated based on the question's $Coefficient$ multiplied by the number of $Points$ calculated according to the chosen options:
$$ \boxed{Final~Points = Coefficient \times Points}Â $$
The options of points calculation are applied before applying the question coefficient, which is configured in the editor.
Configuration of the question coefficient
Therefore, we consider that the maximum number of $Points$ that can be obtained for a question is 1 point. $max(Points)=1$
Points for the question
The $Points$ calculated by the scale for the question are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect choices selected, as well as the configured $Reward$ and $Penalty$.
$$ \boxed{Points=i \times Reward + j \times Penalty}Â $$
$$
\begin{align*} i = &~\text{number of correct choices selected} \\ j = &~\text{number of incorrect choices selected} \end{align*}
$$
Reward for the selected correct choices
The $Reward$ for the selected correct choices is calculated in one of the following modes:
[ ] All or Nothing. Selecting all the correct choices is the only way to obtain the Points; otherwise, the reward is zero.
[ ] Proportional. Selecting a correct choice provides a reward proportional to the total number of correct choices.
